The opportunity

Given the current, changeable market conditions, the national client was looking for reassurance in respect of the revenues they had applied to a significant mixed-use scheme.

The approach

Given the requirement for confidence and accuracy, we carried out extensive market research — not only in respect of sales values, but also rate, mix and depth analysis — covering comparable schemes from the present day to nearly a decade ago, over a 50-mile search radius.

The outcome

We provided our findings and offered solutions to some of the challenges facing the scheme, which hadn't previously been offered by any other advisors. Our pricing was within 2.5% of the landowner's — across over 2,000 units — and provided the context they needed to progress the scheme.
